The Howmet Playhouse Wish List

Would you like to contribute in some small way to the ongoing operations of your favorite hometown theatre? Below is a list of items that are in constant need at the Playhouse. The Playhouse is also considering some larger Capital Improvement projects. If you are interested in learning more, please contact:

As of February 5, 2012 we need …

• 4 watt clear white bulbs (for the Exit signs)
• Any color paint (for summer festival sets)
• Carpet Entrance Mats (3) ($50-$60 apiece)
• CFL bulbs, 100 watt or higher
• Cleaning supplies (bathroom, floor & countertop cleaners, etc.)
• Cloth piano cover for an upright piano
• Fix-all
• Flooring: any type (carpet, tile, wood paneling, etc.)
• Gaff Tape ($15.00-$20.00/roll, depending on width)
• Glow Tape ($7.00-$14.00/roll, depending on width)
• Hand Saw, cross-cut or rip or both
• Hardware such as nails, screws, etc.
• Housing for Summer Company
• Interior Paint for the playhouse lobby and hallway
• Kilz concrete care products
• Leaf Blower
• Level
• Long measuring tape, above 25 feet
• Lumber of all shapes and sizes
• Masking tape, painter’s tape
• Paint brushes and rollers
• Picnic Tables for the Howmet Playhouse grounds (3)
• Pick-up truck for movement of set pieces (short-term summer loan)
• Plaster
• Pliers
• Push-snow blower
• Rags
• Table saw
• Towels: terry cloth or similar hand towels
• Trash bags
• New upright vacuum cleaner w/ hose attachment
• Vacuum bags

Capital Expenses Wish List (these are larger ticket items)

• Hanging hardware and new lighting for local art work displayed in hallway
• Insulation products for walls, windows, and roof
• Concrete restoration of front wall under “Howmet Playhouse”

• Microphones and stands (please contact for details)
• New energy efficient marquee (approximately $20,000)
• Double paned, energy efficient windows for lobby ($5,000-$9,000)
