The Goal of Our Current Campaign

The City of Whitehall now owns the property with plans to make the Howmet Playhouse a year-around operation. To realize that goal they have hired professional management and mounted a fund-raising campaign to build capital, operating, and endowment funds.

Gifts to support the ongoing, day-to-day operations of the playhouse may be made online using our Secure Online Donation Form. Checks, payable to "City of Whitehall-Howmet Playhouse", may also be mailed to the City of Whitehall:

Playhouse Sponsorships pay for a large portion of each single production or may be spread across the entire season, depending on the size of the gift and the donor’s interest.

• Listing on playhouse marquee for duration of the play sponsored.

You can help and add your name or business to the great tradition of the historic playhouse by also donating to our capital improvement and endowment funds. Your donation may be tax deductible and may qualify for a 50% match. Checks or donations may be sent to the Community Foundation for Muskegon County and made payable to:
